Unisex cable connector from Neutrik |

 Professional connector systems manufacturer Neutrik will be drawing attention to convertCON, billed as the first unisex XLR cable connector. The connector is said to enable easy connection of a female or male chassis connector, explains David Davies.
The 3-pole XLR cable connector offers gold contacts and straightforward termination onto the cable. convertCON is branded with a unique hologram, guaranteeing it as a genuine and authentic Neutrik product.
Among many other items, Neutrik will also be showing the successor to the combined XLR/jack hybrid, the Combo. The new Combo A series is said to "set a new standard in respect of required space and costs… the A series Combo offers [drastic space savings] and highest packing density".
The combined XLR/0.25" receptacle is available as a 6-pole horizontal and vertical PCB mount version. Said to be ideal for digital audio signals, the new Combo series also sports a unique Neutrik hologram on the domed receptacle front side.
